Early Life

Minister Oppong was born by an energetic and charismatic parent, Mr and Mrs Justina Matthew on 4th September 1987 at Agona Nkwanta Hospital in Takoradi,a town in Axim, a district in the Western Region of Ghana. He is the second born of four (4) children eldered by four (2) sisters, (2)brothers that has really impacted his voice to be magical, resulting in hitting the hearts and minds of his listeners. He attended and completed Junior High School level at Agona Dc Junior High School in the year 2004, he then continued his Senior High School level of education at Baidoo Bonso High and completed in 2007.

Music Career

He started gospel music at the age of five (5), went into numerous gospel battles and ends up murdering his competitors, which earned him his showbiz name Minister Oppong from the hood boys because they were amazed a young boy was able to minister gospel music with singing, the hood boys claimed he was bigger than they imagined him to be. He professionalized his music career in 2013. He became a member of ExpressPhilms Show, took it seriously by releasing his first album dubbed ‘Awurade Nim Me’ which means God Knows You. in 2013, which followed with many other releases, and currently released a mind-blowing tune titled, "Gyae Su" meaning No More Tears. in 2014

He was signed by ExpressPhilms Records due to his amazing talent for one (1) year deal.

He has rocked many stages and shows not limited to All black invasion program, and ExpressPhilms show

Minister Oppong in recent years has been cool working on numerous mind-blowing tune with famous artists (surprising his fans by refusing to disclose the famous artists’ names), which would be released in times to come shortly.

Minister Oppong as an Gospel, Worship and Songwriter artist has many traces of rap music included, he has aspirations role models such as Koda, Sonnie Badu and Tim Godrey. His main aspiration in music is to be the first Ghanaian artiste to win GRAMMYs award and other related foreign awards for Ghana and still on the roll working on it with his supportive fanbase.
